"Riverside suburb"
A lovely suburb that is closed to the city and by the river. Flooding can be a serious issue in some parts.

"Great for families"
Camp Hill is a lovely suburb that is fast transforming with many young families moving in. Certainly hilly and many houses have lovely views. Very friendly and helpful neighbourhood with most residents long stayers. Excellent access to city, shops (Old Cleveland Rd, White Hill, Carindale etc), and dinning.

"Good surburb, but a bit expensive for what it is."
Good suburb overall. It has many different parts including hilly areas with lovely views and flat leafy areas. Nice neighbourhood but people like high fences. Nice schools. The traffic can be an issue with Sandgate Rd and Kingsford Smith Drive very busy in the mornings. It is expensive compared with other suburbs that offer the similar lifestyles in innercity North, West and South.

Auchenflower a "fair hike from the city"?? Check your facts as its only 3kms from the city and a 5 min drive also a great suburb.
Ascot now seems good value look at auchenflower, bardon the average home there is 1.5 mil and a fair hike from the city Ascot would have to be the best suburb in brisbane.
