Laverton

"Forgotten suburb - Great investment"

Great little area, somewhat forgotten part of Western Melbourne. Close to city, cant buy land that cheap and so close to melbourne anywhere. Get in people, while you can. If you want to make money, this is where you buy. Green leafy suburb, close to beautiful neighbouring suburbs of Altona and Williamstown, well underpriced in comparison with neighbouring suburbs much further out from the city........Also, only 10 minutes to the beach...

While housing in the area is quite old and somewhat rundown, there are plenty of developments going on. Furthermore, it appears gentrification of the area is taking place, which is always massive when it comes to capital growth. The recently upgraded Laverton station is also a major drawcard, as it is the last Zone 1 stop to Melbourne.

Great sized blocks of land are also a feature of the suburb, with most ranging close to 600 square m, perfect for subdivision.

Lots of Parks and recreational spaces are evenly spread across the suburb, giving it a slightly country feel, all only 18km from the city.

Great for

  • Only 15 minutes to CBD
