Hatton Vale

"Beats city living thats for sure!!"

We moved here six months ago from Melbourne. Previously we have lived in NSW, Brisbane and Manchester England. This is Heaven on Earth. Nothing at all beats country living, with the modern conveniences that a new home has, shops for the necessities not too far away and lots of green tree's, grass and plenty of wildlife. The area is growing fast ( so the locals tell me) so I'm a bit concerned about the one local primary school being able to cater to so many children.
Theres quite a lot of families with children, teenagers and toddlers but also quite a lot of retired people too. A good balance for a peaceful and happy community. At first the Covenant that is attached to the land was a concern but it actually gives peice of mind that the neighbours aren't going to be filling their block up with rusted out cars or having their relatives living in a caravan temporarily but actually staying ten years. lol You know the types of housing estates I'm talking about.
I don't regret buying a home here at all. After searching for 20 years for a place to call home we have finally found it and are here to stay.

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids
  • Retirees

Hattonvale is only good for people who wanna die quietly as there is nothing else to do but sit and gaze at the grass whilst it grows...unless you have farm animals or motobikes ie; then this place isn't really for you and trust me the kids hate it unless you're willing to travel at least 25 -30 minutes to actually do something and even then you don't want to drive anywhere because you have to drive all the way back because it's so far away from everything,All kids have to do out here is "meetups at the local maccas,Burnouts, terrorise the community and steal! The Kids are bored...parents are sick of listening to there kids whining and driving hours on end for them to have sanity of when their kids shut up nagging for once...so If there's anything I can advise you people who are thinking of moving here....DONT! the "novelty" will wear off in no time...thank me later
