'm bias, I love Perth. I've lived in some great cities in Australia and North America but it's hard to beat the climate and beauty of Perth. I lived in Perth CBD about 10 years ago and after a recent visit I was shocked at how much the city has changed. The CBD used to close up at 6 PM and had a lack of good eating and cool places to drink. No longer! Whether it's the mini-Melbournesque Wolf Lane, or the view from The Aviary on William Street, the CBD has a new vibe.

I Another bonus of the CBD; access to the Swan River and the network of bike lanes available. You can almost travel from Guildford to Cottesloe Beach on separate biking lanes.
