"Noisy and increased crime"
I moved here from Sydney and loved the suburb. However, there have been some changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic which have made the suburb unsafe, there have been burglaries in apartments with break-ins at night while the occupants were sleeping. Also, the constant traffic noise is numbing.

Toowong is one of Brisbanes safest suburbs and is full of quiet streets (as its not a through suburb, and backs onto mt cootha/botanical gardens. You must have been living on a main road!
