Trinity Park

"Large public housing communites in Trinity park, Dont waste your time."

Don't your time building your dream home in Trinity Park.

There are considerably large amount of public housing in this area, along on Reed Road and particularly new public housing units are currently building in the Bluewater canal which near Half moon Bay beach and as a result this has pretty much ruined the whole Bluewater estate.

Also, there is a new cheap estate like 'Smithfield Village' where some real estate allows house and land package to be built at S/field village at a record low price, which are fine for investors. Apart from it, there are good schools and major shopping centre nearby.

I currently reside in Trinity Beach. It's nice, but Trinity Park seems to be a better bang for buck. Is it really filled with public housing? I was looking at buying in this area in 6 to 12 months, however if it has this going on there is no way I will bother. I don't want problem neighbours.

damon79: I bought in Smithfield Village 6 months ago and we've been very happy here. All the homes are of good quality, as you say they are affordable, everyone we pass on our afternoon walks are friendly, and the maintanance of the suburb is very well done. Their is a Village community organisation that organises regular events in the local park which is great if you have kids. It is true that their is public housing on Reed road and Bluewater estate but we haven't seen any issues with that in our estate. Unfortunately Cairns will always have public housing throughout most suburbs of the region.
