We moved here about 3 years ago. Like many we had to shop within our budget and when compared to other affordable areas we felt Strathpine was the best option. Then after spending some time here, we realised how handy it was to beaches on the sunshine coast and the amazing hinterland. 4x4 and dirt bike riding in state forests. Picnicing at Lake Samsonvale. Historical villages like Dayboro. Having brendale industrial estate is very handy, a big variety of services and trades. All the major retail chains along Gympie Rd. Public transport is very good. Fast access to the Gateway motorway and Gympie Rd. My only complaint about Strathpine would be the occasional hooning
