Ewart Street

"An ideal location in a vibrant community"

I’ve lived on Ewart street for over 10 years. A lot of development has taken place along the main drag of Wardell road, but the community vibe has stayed much the same. My son went to the local MARRICKVILLE West school from kindy to year 6. We meet so many people that way and still keep in touch as our children grew. I’ve walked and rode my bike along the cooks river Too many times to count. It is such a beautiful green space just moments away. I could ride to the Canterbury pool in 15 mins or ride the other way to the Concordia club. The golf club is an untouched gem and a 10 min walk. The chemist, news agency, dry cleaners, the loose dozen bottleo and Roberts hair salon have been such a convenience all the vendors are friendly and of a good quality. Public transport is plenty with rail, light rail and the 412 bus all less than 5mins walk. You have at least 4 cafes to choose from for your morning coffee, I would recommend Wolf and stone. Other highlights is a walk or train to Illawarra and MARRICKVILLE road where you can shop for food, second hand clothing, eat many different cuisines and some lovely cafes and restaurants. I could go on, but it is exciting to explore this neighbourhood and find some little gems of your own.
