Beerwah

"Friendly country town"

I moved to Beerwah two years ago and have four young children. Its a great place for families, lots of nice parks, a swimming pool and skate park, its not too busy and its not too quiet. I find the shopping facilities are good there is a Woolworths and IGA plus lots of local businesses like mechanics, hairdressers, fruit shops etc if I need bigger shops like target or kmart I can go to Morayfield or Maroochydore. I like to be able to buy local fruit and honey from the road side stalls in the mountains

I find it to be very clean and lots to do with the kids - plenty of playgroups and activities at the local library and community hall. Also a few nice restaurants are opening up now and the local pub serves nice food and has a play area for children

It is in a lovely location - the Glass House Mountains - beautiful scenery of pineapple fields and farms.

There is plenty of housing and quite a few new estates like Beerwah Heights, Woodgrove and Shaws Road. The housing is a little expensive though you cant really buying any thing under $400,000 and land prices are going up constantly.
