Frankston North

"Great suburb, close to beach and all amenities"

Moved to Frankston North in 2013. Property prices were relatively cheaper than neighboring suburbs at the time, however they care catching up slowly now. But still a great bargain suburb to invest.

Most houses are on huge blocks of land and old but there are a few renovated / newly built ones too.

Very multicultural. The Community center is one of the best for kids, specially pre-schoolers to spend some time daily.

Pros : Close to public transport, medical centers, train station, shops, public hospital, shopping center, fast food, child care centers, easy road access to CBD (just one set of traffic lights and about 35-40 minutes to the CBD via M3 and M1 toll roads or about 50-60 minutes via M11 and Nepean Highway).
Cons : On very rare occasions you may see an idiot or hoon driver at night (but I have experienced idiots in every suburb I have lived), not in the zone for any of the Frankston schools
