used to be a great place to live but since the shopping centrehas expanded that end of the street is much noisier and the old homes will soon be surrounded by busy streets. Eating out in Busselton is really average; nearby towns have a better range and much higher quality offerings. The main street, adjacent to Adelaide St, is drab but slow progress is being made to make it interesting.

Friendly street, few pretences. Lots of residents have lived here for decades and look out for each other. Great place for children to grow up, close to UWA and only one set of traffic lights from the city. The river is at eaither end of waratah Ave.
The shops are due for a facelift, but that seems to be likely in the forseeable future, with revitalisation planned. Could do with a revamp of some of the older homes into single subdivision.
