Moore Street

"My favorite street"

I have friends all around Hurstville, but no one seems to have the relationship with neighbours like we do on Moore Street. At first, no one really spoke to each other but as time went on we began to meet and talk about things. Now (at least the part of the street that my parents and I are on) all know each other and it really adds to our experience. The street has multiple parks and is generally quiet. At times you get hoons speeding up the road, but compared to other areas it's nothing in comparison. It's close to Westfield (less then 5 minutes by car or 10-15 minutes walk) and contains various bus stops to take you wherever you need to go. Need to go to Westfield or a neighbouring suburb? Just catch one of the many buses from the various bus stops in the street, not to mention the bus to The Star at the top of the street. The train station is also within walking distance with various car parks nearby. It's close to schools however childcare can be issue. As far as I know, the only childcare facility is on the other side of Westfield (I haven't had a need for such facilities so I haven't really looked for them). Various medical facilities are also nearby as are places to eat out. For people who are into the gym or fitness, various groups meetup in the mornings at Hurstville Oval just a few minutes away and 2 new gyms are currently under construction in the area.

Overall compared to other streets in Hurstville, I've found Moore Street to be paradise.
