Butler is pretty nice. The suburb is fairly new and there is potential for a bright future.

Pros:
1) Friendly neighbours.
2) Close to schools and parks.
3) It's got a train station with efficient links to Perth city. The train line will extend to Yanchep in a few years alongside the mitchell fwy.
4) Shopping - Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Spudshed, Amart, Living Emporium and many other speciality stores are available with more options to come.
5) Good selection of medical centres. Optometrists and dentists are also good.
6) 5 minutes drive to the ocean and beach.
7) Lots of families have pets so vet clinics and pet shops are also available.
8) Good local vehicle/boat mechanics.
9) Decent selection of cafe's/restaurants/fast food. Some recent restaurants in the area include 3 Sheets on the Track in Butler, The Beach House in Jindalee and The Landing in Alkimos.
10) Kids play centres, dance academies, fitness centres, pool and snooker are some of the entertainment and healthy living options.

Cons:
Portions of the suburb are a little dodgy.
