"So central, but expensive for smaller, older houses"
Expensive homes for the size, small blocks than many other suburbs, but the centrality to shopping, train, footy stadium, hospital is all great. If you’re thinking of moving here and you’re not from the Coast, don’t expect the beach!
Great for
- Shopping, dining, entertainment
Not great for
- Expensive housing
- Too much thru traffic

"A family community close to everything you need"
Having lived here for several years, in a lovely, fully-owner-occupied cul-de-sac, I can vouch for the family friendly nature of our suburb. Stockland are spot-on when creating suburbs that meet the needs of the community. The streets here are lined with masses of trees (I live in the established part), and most of the houses in the surrounding streets are house and garden proud which makes for a scenic setting. There are 3 schools and several child care centres here in Pac Pines, and the shops cater to most day-to-day needs, with Helensvale Westfield 3 minutes drive from my house if I need more. The train is at Helesnvale Westfield to, and my commute to work is helped by being 2 minutes from 2 different M1 entries.
My teenaged daughter loves it here, and she is hoping to attend Griffith University next year which is 10 minutes away. She also loves going to the beach (Main is 15 minutes). To top it off for her, Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet n Wild are on our doorstep, 2 minutes in the car to WnW.
We love it and our neighbours who have been here since they built their houses new in 1995 love it too.

"Central and Great Views"
HAndy to the city, our home had great city views. Noisy as most inner suburbs are.

"Visually beautiful, peaceful and handy to the GC"
There are plusses and minuses to every place. We can leave our backdoor open by accident and never have a problem. There are more and more people moving here to get away from choking cities and there’s so many great cafes and restaurants opening all the time. We’ve lived in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, but here we’ve found the serenity. Love it.

So close to the cities, but perfectly distant!
