Freeling

"A friendly country town."

My partner and I both grew up in Freeling, our families still live there. It feels so safe to walk around, even at night, and the land and houses are really affordable. There is a real sense of community, and it really is a town where the locals know each other. The downside to Freeling is that there isn't a high school (most kids go to Kapunda or Nuriootpa for high school), and there are very limited conveniences (a post office, 2 takeaway stores, 2 pubs, a second-hand shop, a Foodworks and more recently, a chemist). In saying this, Gawler and Nuriootpa are only short drives away.
