Ryde is very central. It's not far to Parramatta, city or far in between. It has fantastic public transport with lots of buses to the city. You do not need a timetable. In the morning on weekdays, there wlll be buses every few minutes. You can even chosse which bus you want to get on. Ryde has a beautiful Ryde Park which is family friendly and pet friendly. Walking through the park is relaxing and very enjoyable.

The Top Ryde shopping centre is a great place to hang out with friends and family. Doing all the shopping and with the recent opening of cafe, restaurant eg Hurricane Grill, Japan City etc,

I have live in Ryde area for more than 15 years - it's a great and if I have a choice, I will choose Ryde.
