Redbank Plains

"Affordable Living"

Redbank Plains i would consider a very working class area, it has some colourful characters, but like most areas you have them anyhow. A few hoons frequent the streets occasionally, again its not happening 24/7. Lived in the area for the past 9 months both renting and recently have purchased. I like the area its a great place to buy to get yourself into the housing market.

In my opinion RBP is fairly central, Orion 10mins down the road, Mt Omanney 20 mins away, Ipswich 20 mins away.

Great for

  • New train station end of school road or close to it.
  • Affordable Housing
  • Parks and kids play areas
  • Shops, food, local entertainment, public transport - all close by
  • Walk to local shopping centres, short drive to Orion Shopping Centre
  • Lots of bargains available with houses under 300k
  • Whats up and coming to the area

Not great for

  • Public Transport is ordinary after 5pm on a weekend/public holiday
  • Stay clear of Henty Drive area if you want piece and quiet
  • Hard to get internet access until they upgrade the exchange.

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • LGBT+
