"A happy street"

Broadway is a great place to live. Neighbours tend to keep to themselves when at home, but if you're out tending your garden, collecting mail or just out for a walk, everyone will stop and say hi or ask how your day is going. You're in close walking distance to the shops and cafes on Nepean Highway, the beach, locoal primary schools in Chelsea and Bonbeach, and the Sports reserve is not far. There are bus stops along the adjacent Fowler street, and the train station is only one street across. Housing wise is mostly units closer to Nepean Highway, with single family homes and a few townhouses a block back from the highway. Further up Broadway, there are several cars usually parked along the street due to the Nursing home not seeming to have sufficient parking. Residents of Broadway are a mix of young families, professional couples and retirees.

Great for

  • Close to beach
  • Easy access to public transport

Not great for

  • Several cars parked on the street

"Great little community with access to the city"

Not sure where the negative reviews some from. Trains run to the city every ten minutes. Bus routes through the town. Some great cafes have sprung up in the last few years, with a five minute walk to Chelsea and their shops. Not the most happening place but a great place to live with the beach nearby.
