Once considered the "it" street it still holds a special place in the local area. These days it's more of a place to see what those unique people were spending their money on back in the 80's and 90's. It is worth a drive by purely to be a bit nosey. It's still quite a nice spot although not considered to be the "it" street anymore with newer, bigger and more amazing homes popping up all over Dural including Carters Rd, Vineys Rd, Davey Rd and Wyoming Roads.

It still holds a special place in my heart though, and Dural is still the most friendly and beautiful place to live.

Dural consists of both acreage and residential property so it attracts young couples or families up to the very wealthy. With such a diverse range of options it gives the area a nice community feel with a real mix of people.

It is one of the safest areas to have a young family and the options for public, private or religious schools are excellent.

The traffic is just localised, so there are very few traffic lights or for that matter traffic at all.

Entertainment is pretty average with only a few options and the local pub is terrible. The area desperately needs a great family venue as there are now in many beach suburbs along the east coast of Australia. That aside there are a few good places to dine with fantastic Thai, some good indian, chinese and italian. Many of these restaurants are expensive so you question paying city prices without the view??

Overall you don't live in Dural for the night life or entertainment - but that's what makes it so good - it's incredibly peaceful, safe and beautiful.
