We have lived in many places throughout Australia (Hobart, Launceston, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Canberra) and have just moved back to Kangaroo Flat (our second time) after deciding that this is where we would like to raise our young family. The neighbours are terrific and caring whilst maintaining privacy - it is a REAL community. Kangaroo Flat has the balance right - it is close enough to Melbourne for a quick trip to the footy or special event by road or high speed train, whilst being a part of Bendigo and regional Victoria and allowing an excellent quality of life. It just doesn't get any better!
