"Standout coast suburb"

Buderim is the best suburb on the coast, without question. It is centrally located and within striking distance of everything- Sunshine Plaza and Kawana Shopping World for shopping; Mooloolaba Beach- Rock pools and calm swimming down the spit end for kids; multiple playgrounds and BBQ facilities right along the foreshore; the coast's best fish and chips can be found down the spit( depending on which part of Buderim you live in, Mooloolaba Beach is a short bike ride- no car needed!) Serenity Falls; Close to Sealife and Aussie World; and; the coast's best public/private primary and high schools are in this area. For liveability, Buderim is best.

Mooloolaba

"Underrated part of the coast"

Mooloolaba is a great place to live. It may not have the celebrity fans that Noosa does, but it does have the following:

Best beachfront area with playgrounds and bbq's
You can sit on the beach and not have resorts directly behind you (we are talking about you Noosa!)
Best and freshest seafood on the coast available from the Spit
Great calm swimming areas for littlies down the Spit end of the beach
Lots of parkland areas along the beach
Mooloolaba rockpools
Head up for sunset drinks and nibblies at Alexandra Headland hill/lookout
Great range of competitively priced restaurants and cafes
Sea Life/ Underwater World
5 minutes drive to the best coast shopping- Sunshine Plaza
In the catchment area for the BEST public high school on the coast- Mountain Creek
Close to the coast's best private schools
Best ocean access for boats
Cheaper median house price than Noosa Heads/Sunshine Beach
