My partner & I have lived in Wellington Point since December after buying our first home together. We love it here. We searched for a while to find the right place, originally in Wakerley and Manly but found our beautiful 2 story house on a 950m2 block for less than what we would have paid for a single story 500m2 in other suburbs.

It’s quiet, but also has plenty to do. Some great restaurants, and more nearby in Cleveland. Close to the Gateway for trips to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.
Capalaba is nearby (10mins) for your shopping needs, and if you need Myer/DJ’s Garden City and Carindale are approx 20mins away.

My partner & I both commute to work every day, he drives, leaving at around 615am each morning to Cannon Hill or the Hill, and myself the train, normally at about 715am into the city. I always find a park at the station & a seat on the train. On the way home I can leave anywhere between 430-545pm and again always get a seat from Central.

We don’t have kids yet but I did my research before moving & the public schools around have a great reputation, and there’s also a couple of private schools with a good rep too.
