Just bought a unit and had no problems whatsoever. A lot of old houses are torn down and new ones erected. Noble Park station and it's surrounding are undergoing major change and looks like rejuvenating.
Heard of some burglary cases before but then even at Mount Waverley and Glen Waverley there are burglaries. No suburb is immune to burglary. One has to put in place detection and deterence measure in their houses like alarm etc.
A lot of suburbs with some past bad reputation are getting better and better due to improvement in socio economic standards. I believe Noble Park along with Spring vale, Frankston north and Clayton south are such suburbs that will benefit in long run. The recent increase in properties prices in such suburbs are a testimony to that.
