My husband and I bought our house here 4 year ago. We have been very happy here and our daughter loves her school in the area. There are so many parks which are great for the kids and the dog. Plus the off lead areas of the park are great for meeting other dog owners in the area. As to the previous review re: grafitti, There is grafitti in all suburbs. It's not Carrum Downs it's teenagers in general. We hate it too but there is a grafitti clean up crew that come around. And re: people walking around looking like death, maybe if you spent less time being depressed about where you live then maybe people around you will like you a bit more.
