"A hidden gem"

I have lived here for three years now. What can I say? I adore this little seaside sanctuary. It's far enough away from the maddening cities to carve out a peaceful existence. The beaches are AMAZING! The scenery is AMAZING! Including of course the Biosphere. Adventures abound in this place but it is getting hard to find property here. That's the only downside. But it keeps it exclusive in some ways which is nice. It's busy enough with local mining etc to be self sufficient. If you love fresh rural living and the beach, this place ticks a lot of boxes. It's hard to find anything like it particularly where properties are still relatively affordable for a beachside town.

"Gloomy Melbourne to Greenfields"

Moved from Melbourne and have never looked back. Greenfields has everything so close to the beach and a short drive to the CBD. Easy to get around and good choice of restaurants and cafes. Big $$ recently spent on the swimming pool at the foreshore. Wise place to invest.

This comment makes me feel very optimistic. I am in the throws of purchasing a home in Greenfields in the estate that sits in the corner of Mandurah road and Pinjarra road (actually opposite side from the Mandurah forum) and have been scrolling through review pages to see if I can anything negative about the area but thankfully nothing to unlike your post! I am a 30 year old first home buyer looking for a quieter life than my Melbourne inner city life is allowing me but also appreciate certain conveniences. Have you found anything hard to live with in Greenfields?

We're also moving from Melbourne and have recently bought in Greenfields. Haven't even been to WA! Sounds like we've chosen a good suburb.
