We’re born and bred in Australia and have lived in a lot of outer south eastern suburbs. Also lived a number of years in Frankston and a few in St Kilda. We loved everywhere we lived and aren’t afraid of a little disadvantage or diversity. Granted Glen Waverley is a little quiet if you want nightlife within walking distance but as far as people are concerned, everyone is lovely, friendly and really active in the community. At least everyone we come in contact with. After reading some of the negative comments I completely disagree. We love the diversity, the food options, the Glen, the schools, the parks, the great people, the trails, the accessibility to all the freeways and a great train line. Honestly after riding on every line in the East it’s the best by far. Low crime rate as well. Great place to live and raise kids.
