Flinders Street

"close to amenities, attractive period homes, property hot spot."

The street is dominated by well cared for period homes. Parking is a problem with limited resident parking, few houses have on site parking. Nature strips are well tended by the council. The street becomes quieter the further away from High street you go. Public transport links to the CBD are excellent, with a tram service along High Street to the CBD via Smith Street to Bourke Street. The tram also travels directly past La Trobe and RMIT universities in Bundoora. The train station is close, only 2 blocks from High Street. There is a Safeways supermarket about 4 blocks from Flinders Street. Homes are now attracting high prices and there is the flow on from the nearby pricier suburb of Northcote.
