I am next to carr st in cleaver st. We can walk to leederville in a couple of minutes, which has a village like vibe with restaurants,large fitness centres, cafes,pubs, varied retail, tafe, schools,library, large sporting centre,train station etc and best of all an art house cinema. We are right next to a swimming centre, indoor and out and gym. We are also close to other entertainment centres, such as mount Lawley, Northbridge, Subiaco, and the city. Public transport all very accessible with a bus in the street taking only a few minutes to the city.
There are many lovely parks nearby such as hyde park and kings park, and several dog parks.
The area still has many character and heritage homes. This pocket of West Perth is really East Leederville, a very separate area from the business district of West Perth.
