As a young family we decided on making the move to Whittlesea. Not only is it affordable but the area is very pretty and has a lot of potential for investment and great living! We have lived here for two years and find the scenery, the parks and the space all within an hour to the city as ideal. For anyone who is wanting a bit of excitement there is Funfields a great amusement park along with the Whittlesea Show and country music festival held every year. There is a secondary college, two primary schools, lovely estates and a nice shopping strip covering basic essentials. Not to forget to mention a new dentist clinic a medical clinic and soon to be Mcdonalds and a bigger IGA. As there is always room for improvement in any town a recreational with a sporting and swimming facility will be fantastic as well as an Aldi Supermarket, perhaps a few more restaurants and a train line. As Whittlesea is in the corridor of most developed areas i am sure it wont take long till these things take place. As for now i am happy to call Whittlesea home!
