Little Oxford Street

"Collingwood's Coolest Pocket"

Home to The Design Files HQ, Rone's artist studio, boutique apartments and beautiful town houses, Little Oxford is an intimate and neighbourly community within a community. Stop by any of the coffee spots and you will see neighbours catching up and long-term residents chatting away.

Surrounded by Melbourne's best brunch spots, a perfect weekend is a South of Johnston (or a zillion other places) breaky followed by a walk to Fitzroy Gardens or Carlton Gardens, both less than 10 minutes walk from Little Oxford Street. Get on your bike and you're on the Capital City Trail within 5 minutes. Or walk 30 seconds to enjoy your coffee in Peel Street or Langridge Street Parks. Spend the afternoon strolling the furniture, art and design stores of Smith Street and surrounds, or boutique clothing and design stores on Gertrude Street and Brunswick Street. You can be in the CBD in 5 minutes on the tram, or 15/20 minutes on foot.

Coles, Woolies, and two organic food stores are within five minutes, as is Melbourne's best butcher (Meatsmith) and two incredible fishmongers (Ocean Made Seafood and The Fish Shoppe). All of the city's best restaurants are a literal stones throw away - the struggle is forcing yourself to leave the suburb.

If you love a proper community, incredible food, the best design design, beautiful green spaces and being able to walk/tram absolutely everywhere, Little Oxford is actual heaven.
