Acacia Street

"My Childhood Place!"

I grew up living on this street nearly my whole life and I have to say, Acacia street has not changed quite so much even when I had moved up to Mareeba for a while. I could always come back and see the neighbours are all good and living a comfortable lifestyle here on Acacia street. My relatives, also my mother, grew up living on this street as well and we would always call it home. It's good walking distance to the shops, beach, bus stop and great drive out to the city and back -- we're in heaven! I love it here on Acacia street but not just this street is a good place to live; almost any other street you end up living at in Holloways Beach is perfect just like here. Everybody is happy and when walking around this place, it feels like a walk around the world. Yes, I recommend Holloways Beach to singles or couples who are looking at to live here, but not Acacia street as all the houses you see on this quiet lane road have already been taken up. Then again, come to Holloways Beach if you're after good lifestyle, quietness, friendly neighbours and affordable coastal life. Of course, for the parking bit, people on Acacia street have one or two garages only but I think when the locals got friends visiting, they all seem happy parking their cars at the front of their mates' house or a stone throw away across the road underneath the big leafy trees. "It's all here at Holloways Beach!" I say. :)
