"Near to city - commercial residential place"
Pyrmont is well located near to sydney city. No public transport to pyrmont - so if it rains/cold or u want to get home quicker on a weekday peak hour - good luck. Walking will be your best option as otherwise you will be stuck in traffic for a while. Lot of students around the area in day and in night it feel unsafe to walk around.

It sounds like Ultimo to me too. As Ultimo is close to UTS and other schools and therefore many students around that area during the daytime. But that is NOT Pyrmont.
People live in Pyrmont are in general professionals, young families or retirees. Many couples downsizing also choose to live in Pyrmont for its convenient with great water views.
It is a great inner city suburb for young professionals as you can walk to work every day with great relaxing environments for after work relaxation; there are fitness clubs, great restaurants (although a bit expensive) and parklands.
I think you were talking about Ultimo. I have been living in Pyrmont for tha past 7 years and love this suburb.
