nothing decent about this suburb

I have lived in Elizabeth nearly all my life. It has always suffered from chronic unemployment. With the departure of most major industries, it is now virtually a retirement area. I would not encourage people with young families to move here. There are good areas in Elizabeth with presentable houses and also areas where public housing still exists. The infrastructure is quite good, clean areas, solidly built houses at reasonable prices, shopping and decent roads. Like everywhere, you have to accept that the hospitals, schools and transport could be upgraded. It is too far from Adelaide to be a daily commute. Think wisely before considering Elizabeth as your home.
