Hawkesbury Avenue is one of the newer streets in the area, tucked away and facing the forest.
We have lived here from when it was first released and have seen it grow.
The park is a fantastic place and the young kids are always there playing games on the great equipment or just kicking a ball about on the great open oval area.
As the street is a dead end, there is no real 'through traffic', just access to a few smaller roads leading off it.
Visitors comment on how quiet it is despite the fact that the surrounding area is now pretty much fully developed.
There seems to be a lovely neighbourhood spirit, no clique to try and break into as we are all new to the street and surrounding neighbourhood. Some of the mums have arranged get-togethers in the park to celebrate festivities like Halloween - for the kids but which have also been great for the adults in meeting and getting to know other.
