Darling Heights

"Good place to buy."

Good place to buy. You can get more house for your money. Most students are respectful towards neighbours (students need quiet to study as well). Real estate rental managers are very responsive to complaints about neighbourhood noise. Police are very responsive to complaints about loud music (even during the day). These days police can physically remove the offending noise item (e.g. drums, stereo etc) if complaints continue. Well serviced by buses. Close to local doctor, chemist, school, Japanese gardens and uni. Great shopping at Toowoomba Plaza, Harvey Norman, Spolight etc. Quick trip into CBD via West Street.

Mount Lofty

"Pockets of Mount Lofty are good"

Some parts of Mount Lofty are nice and quiet. Other areas have dogs that tend to bark every time something moves. Dogs here seem to be very annoyed by the Home Ice Cream van that rings its bell for hours and Garbage trucks, people wheeling their bins out and in, junk mail deliveries, leaves that move, phantom possums - they even bark at their own echoes. Some people are great because they take their dogs for walks to keep them happy. Others are quite content to let their dogs bark all day.
