Cranbourne

"Improving Greatly"

I have been living in Cranbourne for 12 years now and it wanted to leave almost immediately. However, the suburb has really stepped up its game. The new Shopping Centre is brilliant. There's a woolies, Coles, Target and Kmart and now there's also a JB and so many fashion stores, as before it was lacking so many of these. Even the streets are calmer and cleaner and so are the parks. So many food options now around the suburb and not many suburbs can claim to have a world class sporting facility as what Casey Indoor Sports Centre and Casey Fields are right now. Not to mention the botanical garden, horse and dog track.

However, the nightlife is still a big let down and the main High Street can use a bit of upgrade.

Great for

  • Sporting Facilities

  • Good retail
  • Proximity to beaches and Melbourne

Not great for

  • Hoon Drivers are a big problem

  • Delinquent children
  • Noise and parties

Who lives here?

  • Singles
