North Strathfield

"Nice suburb with everything"

What a nice suburb located right in the centre of "the triangle of hubs" comprising burwood, rhodes and olympic park.
Close to city (another thumb up because this is an express train that only stops at Strathfield, burwood and redfern before entering CBD).
Handful of schools to send kids (Victoria avenue public school, north stra public school, concord west public school and the list goes on).
There is a local woolie although it is not huge. If you want, you can go to strathfield woolie which is only 5 minutes away by drive.

Having lived in Stanmore for the past 4 years before moving to North Strathfield this year, I love this suburb so much better than those trendy inner west suburbs like Stanmore, Newtown, Enmore because I literally hated hated hated airplane noise in those trendy inner west suburbs.

Lack of nightlife does not bother me because that was only a factor to consider in my early twenties. Now i need to raise my kids. So the lack of nightlife is actually another forte of this suburb because it gives me a sense of security for my kids.
