Dayboro

"Country Views and Community Feel!"

I have lived in Dayboro for 5 years and cannot rate it highly enough, if you like a peaceful and quiet existence with a strong community feel.
This is the only place I have lived where locals smile and say hello. I have young twins and almost every time I go out with them someone will ask me if I need help carrying groceries etc.

I often see koalas, wallabies, King Parrots, Rosellas, Kookaburras and families of ducks (just to name a few!) in my backyard.

There is an abundance of cafes however only 3 restaurants available for dining in. I’ll admit, we do need a bit of an uplift in regards to public transport out here. There is none that I am aware of or have seen (there may be a bus?) but driving is a must out here.
The local IGA is expensive, so is only used for emergencies.
I have heard great things about our primary school and day cares also.
Our nearest more developed suburbs are only 30 mins away by car and Woolworths delivers out here.

I have seen a lot of development in recent years in Dayboro, which I love. In my opinion this will continue to increase over the next 5 years or so with the major developments going forward in Ferny grove (train station upgrade) and Petrie University.

Overall, if you are looking for a picturesque town with a strong community, you cannot go wrong with Dayboro.

Who lives here?
