Morningside is the best suburb that I have lived in for so many reasons. It's convenience to everywhere is paramount giving easy access to all the great shopping areas around Brisbane, including the cbd, New farm, Carindale, Wooloongabba. the airport and the DFO and southbank. There is easy access to Moreton Bay if you are into boating which we are, we have the choice of putting the boat in to the bay 10 min away, or the Brisbane River, 5 min away. We have awesome city views and views over Hamilton and the gateway. We have the Seven Hills reserve closeby and all the other bike tracks around us, which gives us plenty of options for jogging and walking. All within 5 - 10 minutes away. Then there are the great schools, 5 of the top 20 Brisbane schools are within 5 km from Morningside, Seven Hills SS, CHAC, Churchie, Citipointe. There are great parks, great families = great life. We are very happy with our choice to move to this suburb which proves time and again to hold its real estate values.
