Fairfield Council does NOT CARE about residents in Fairfield, absolutely careless!!! Smart St is an absolute disaster - especially if you live in units facing Smart St (closer to train station). No double glazed windows, and Noise Polution that we get is terrible. Especially when Council cleans the streets in the middle of the night (anywhere from 1 am to 3-3.30 am)...first leaf blower, than sweeper truck, than big JJ Richards truck removing big container around 6 or so..than removing rubbish from the rubbish bins along the street...than...It gpes forever......there is no end to this. We tried to do everything, but they do not want to cooperate at all. It efecter our lives, and I won't let it go just like that! Many people have mooved out of this building and many more are saying that they are looking to go - we are too!!! No wonder why rating is soo poor for Fairfield. Does Major Lalich see this??????????? Look at the rating for Cabramatta (no offence but Fairfeild was much better suburb to live in than Cabramatta - looks like this is not the story anymore. Thumbs up for Cabra - Tumbs DOWN DOWN DOWN for Fairfield - after many years to think like this - that's not good is it Mr. Lalich?
