We have lived in Ermington for over 6 years now and as a young couple we love the friendly neighbours and the way leveryonme ooks out for each other. We have incredibly good neighbours who are always willing to lend a hand. People still say 'hello' as they walk past and stop to have a chat if we are outside.
Ermington is central and getting to anywhere in the Sydney area is easy. There are many great shopping locations all within easy reach and you can choose from Top Ryde, Rhodes, Macquarie or Parramatta for serious retail therapy or West Ryde or Ermington shops for all your day to day requirements.Ermington shops consists of a chemist, bottle shop, dry cleaners, tobbaconist, hairdresser, a selection of good take aways, a choice of bread shops, a Cheesecake Shop, Woolies, one of the best old fashioned cake shops around (try the Bee Sting Bun) a Post Office, two Banks and more...
The area has changed in the time we have been here and there are a lot more young professional couples moving into the area and we are seeing a lot of new homes popping up in almost every street.
Definately an area to watch!
