I like Malvern East. It's a well planned suburb that is kinda under the radar and not under the radar. Not many people know about it but those who do know about it usually love it. I for one never knew about this suburb after living in Melbourne for 25 years. Just discovered it about 10 years ago but did not really bother to find out more. Now that the wife and I moved here, well, we are really liking the lifestyle. I must say, it does beat living in Toorak, Canterbury and Brighton side of town, and I have lived in those areas.
