"The best street in Mitcham"

Owen street ticks all the boxes. It offers a walking distance to everything, while being a safe and quiet street from the main traffic. You can easily walk to the train station, thanks to the three north-south streets, shops on Whitehorse road, restaurants on Mitcham road, five reserves and playgrounds for kids, a few good childcares and the Mt Pleasant road primary school. No need to even start your car.

The street also got beautiful trees on the side walks. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. You will notice the difference as soon as you enter the street. Great place to walk your dog, go for a run or a relaxed cycling with your little ones.

Neighbours here are friendly and welcoming. Great community feel and the best place to raise a family.

"Beautiful suburb to raise a family"

Lived in Kilsyth South for 6 years and absolutely love it. As soon as you walk into the suburb, you notice the beautiful houses, wide streets with lovely trees, well maintained gardens and the view of Dandenong mountain. This is quite unique from any other suburbs I know of.

The suburb is very quiet from traffic noises. Neighbours have a diverse background and are all super friendly. Definitely the best place to live and have kids running around. Worth to mention, Halloween and Christmas are the best times to parade with other kids among nicely decorated houses.

Shopping and restaurants wise, Canterbury Gardens, Alchester shops and Boronia shopping centre are just a few minutes away.

The suburb is also great for walking your dogs, jogging or cycling. Can confirm 100% as we walked so much in the COVID days. Our favourite walk path is Dandenong creek though to Chandler Ln all the way to Liverpool park, where you see nice trees and birds, farms and horses.

All in all, a great suburb for a quality life and raising a family.
