Gouldian Avenue

"Like life in the very fast lane"

Lots and lots of traffic that travel at a fast rate 7 days per week. Quiet time between 2am and 330am.
Police, Ambulance and Fire sirens almost daily. The local lads like to burn rubber - a very noisy street.
Low class housing in surrounding streets.

I think that many of the residents of Condon would take umbridge to the "low cost housing" remark. Especially the ones that live in the newer areas and also the residents of the beautiful Carlyle Gardens Retirement Resort at the end of Gouldian Ave. I live in Rosella Court and I CERTAINLY do not live in "low cost housing" neither do any of my neighbours.

The comments made by galrain were made three years ago. There have been many changes since then. I believe that Condon did suffer a bit of a reputation at that time. However, it is now an excellent place to live. Willows has been extended to be the largest shopping pricent in Townsville. There are now many more places to eat and be entertained than three years ago. The Ring Road has since been completed taking much of the traffic away from Gouldian Avenue. I would suggest that the comments made by galrain are now time expired.
