Perfect location for anybody who works in Geelong CBD or commutes to Melbourne. I have done both and love how accessible east geelong is to transport. There is south geelong station a stone throw away from where we currently live. Great bike paths, so I ride to work in town. Great family feel to the suburb, quiet area and well kept homes and front gardens. There is lots of street and home pride in East Geelong. I would confidently say that it is the most plesant suburb I have lived in within Victoria. Its not the easiest suburb to buy into because it has become very popular over the past few years. I have a feeling it will continue on that trend. Many people are now buying older homes and renovating them too. Don't think we will be moving any time soon.
