Florence St is around the corner from where we live. We have lived in Glen Waverley all our lives and are now bringing up our own children here. Whilst the property prices are expensive in comparison to some other areas Glen Waverley offers unbeatable value in its local facilities, train station and schools. You can walk to everything here and especially if you live in Florence St too you are in the Glen Waverely Secondary zone, one of the best secondary colleges in the country! There are a lot of Asian families moving in to the area but still plenty of Australians and lots of other nationalities too, everyone is very friendly and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of racism here, everyone lives together happily in this suburb and respects each others cultures, the way it should be. I doubt anyone could be unhappy living in Glen Waverley.
