Badgerys Creek

"Rural atmosphere, yet so close to suburbia."

We purchased a house in Luddenham in 2007. Why? To get away from the riff raff of everyday suburban living.
The first thing you notice when driving through Luddenham is the lack of graffiti on buildings and fences. Yes, that's right, NO GRAFFITI. It is all nice and clean and a pleasure to see.

The views are fantastic. On one side you are overlooking undulating hills towards the city and on the other side you have magnificent views to the foot of the mountains. Throw in a few cows in the paddocks, sprinkle a few dams here and there, mix in some fog on those crisp mornings, well, you get the picture.

Local ammenities are just enough to get by without having to go to the larger towns everyday. There is a medical centre, newsagent/post office, pharmacy, hot food, a couple of service stations, florist, hairdresser, the legendary pie shop, schools, churches and a new IGA. There is even a safety gear shop.

The only drawback is that The Northern Rd tends to get busy in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, especially with trucks. A small price to pay for a great place to live.
