We have lived in Northam for 5 years and we do love the place .
We commute to Perth daily for work and enjoy the peaceful drive back home after a hectic day at the office.
Do find the shops closing at 12 on a saturday a bit of a pain and definately Cafes closed after 12 on weekends a definate loser for the town, and tourism.
Northam is a friendly town and quiet and peacefull most of the time we find busineses very willing and able to accomadate your needs without to much trouble.
Being not too far from Perth we do find it strange that we are not on natural gas here ???
The facilities such as Hospital and emergency services are second to none.
House prices are very affordable we highly recommend bringing families, or retirees into Northam.
A great place to live down by the river ................
