Love the beach, its a little pocket of paradise. Nice mix of people in the community. Not the safest area though, have seen some things since living here which make me nervous with a family. Its a shame the rents are so high and food - it excludes a lot of people being able to enjoy living here.

Found this area very expensive to rent in, we paid high rent in a modern block ( which was meant to be secure ) but was still woken up every Friday, Saturday night with drunk bogans fighting. Called the police several times in 12 months of living there. Not an ideal area with a small baby. I had a brick thrown through my passenger car window and bag stolen when my car was parked in the street. Lots of food options but mostly average, although its improving in Perth these days. A lot of people like this area because of the close proximity to the city and cafe culture, I would look else were there are better places to live.
