"A great place to live in the heart of Brisbane"
Close to beautiful parks, major sporting facilities, great schools, universities, major hospitals, leash-free areas, weekend street markets within walking distance and a fabulous sense of community if you want to get out and socialise with the neighbours. Have lived in the area as a professional couple and now as a family for 15 years. A lovely little leafy pocket surrounded by major roads that can lead you to anywhere you want to go, usually without traffic delays.
Great for
- Location to city centre and all important facilities
- Low house turnover - people move in and stay forever
- Within the catchment area for one of Brisbane's leading public schools and within walking distance of top private schools
Not great for
- High rental area for international students which equates to little investment in streetscape by BBC
- Wide straight streets used to rat-run during peak-hour
- Queenslanders being replaced by high-density unit developments
Who lives here?
- Professionals
- Singles
- Families with kids
- LGBT+
- Hipsters
- Students
- Trendy & Stylish
